Solution
In January 2019, YingMi supplied the park with M7 self-service audio guide devices. Worn around the neck, the M7 lets visitors explore at their own pace without following a live guide or tour group — and without needing to wait for a full group to form, making it just as suitable for solo travelers, families, and small parties. The device's multilingual content lets visitors from different countries experience Xieng Khuan's cultural heritage in their own language, without the park needing to maintain a large multilingual guide staff.
Results
Since deployment, the M7 has been well received by international visitors. The neck-worn design keeps hands free while listening, letting visitors pause for photos, take breaks, or chat with companions as they go. The self-paced format suits Xieng Khuan's sculpture-dense, detail-rich setting particularly well, allowing visitors to linger on pieces that interest them or replay content as needed. Multilingual guiding has effectively addressed the language barrier for international guests, while also easing the park's staffing and scheduling burden — overall feedback has been positive, with strong visitor satisfaction.
